First Copy of Gothic & Lolita Bible!

I placed an order with Jlist recently to get the last issue of Gothic & Lolita Bible, 41.

I was very pleased with the quality of the magazine that I received. I had expected a regular slick paper magazine somewhat like I'd pick up on a regular news stand. However, I was pleased to get a magazine printed on thick, heavy nice feeling pages. As soon as I actually opened the magazine, I was happy to see a cute small set of Innocent World stickers awaiting me (one of which I will surely place on my laptop soon). Flipping through and seeing all the brands beautifully modeled was also nice.

Got My Tea Cup Today!

So I received the tea cup hair clip which I ordered from kittywood recently, and I was very happy with the product! It was awesome to open up my mailbox and see a pink Chinese food box that the item was packaged in. Additionally, she included a free ice cream scoop ring!

I wore the hair clip to one of my classes this evening and got so many compliments. A picture of me wearing the tea cup and ring is below.

I would definitely recommend her products and hopefully plan to order more in the future.

Order Placed with Fanplusfriend

Today I decided to place an order with Fanplusfriend to help flesh out my lolita wardrobe a bit. I ordered a lovely blouse and a small red rose hairband as pictured below:

I also had the fortune of finding a lovely listing on today by . The item was a tea cup hairclip which is pictured below.

I'm very much looking forward to all the pieces I've ordered today. ^_^

First Oufit Pic

I got my first outfit from Bodyline. I went out with a local group of lolitas this past Saturday and had a fabulous time sipping tea with them. Below is a picture of me in my clothes posed and sipping the tea:

Lolita Clothes, Why You No Larger?

I spent some time today on Bodyline's website checking out what pieces I might consider buying next. I ordered my first ensemble from there so, with the launch of their $20 shipping, I figured that I may be in the mood for another purchase within the next month.

However, I soon became more and more frustrated as I saw that all the pieces I found to be adorable or really nice looking were all size m. I am by no means that small of a girl and the lack of anything near my size in piece after piece was frustrating.

Wondering if I was just on the wrong website, I decided to look at the more expensive lolita brands like Baby the Stars Shine Bright and Angelic Pretty to see if maybe I was just missing from looking on Bodyline's website. Instead, I found more pieces just in one size.

I realize that a lot of Japanese clothing makers will only have to cater to the size of the average Japanese girl in their design choices. However, it's just depressing for someone who has money but zero tailoring experience not to see their size offered.

Hello All

I'm starting this journal as a way to chronicle my progress in lolita fashion. I'll be posting things I absolutely love, purchases, and other such whatnot here also.
